   I know all the words to this. I’ve heard it about 10 times but it’s soooo catchy, it just sticks! I recited the first 5 minutes to my friend and she just stared at me – aha, love tim minchin! <33

   Is the animation going to be free to watch on Youtube? Or are people going to have to pay for it?

   I could understand if you were charging. From the small glimpse of what is already done on the trailer I would understand why we’d have to pay for it. It looks like alot of time and effort is going into it.

   Im a broke student though, so free would be nice. = )

   There’s a forthcoming animation for the poem (see the related video for the trailer) and we’d like the focus to be on that rather than Tim’s performance of it, which is why it’s been taken down.

   To be fair, Jeff Buckley is dead, and is therefore incapable of being a genius – or indeed, incapable of being anything, now that he’s gone.
   But the music that he made was incredibly clever in a different sense. Tim’s music is intellectual, Jeff’s was more emotional. Both are difficult, and I’d say that they are both musical geniuses.

    Genius is a word that gets bandied around in the music field too much these days, but tim minchin is a genius. Jeff Buckley is not.
