Artist finds good medicine readying for art show
Despite having undergone a hysterectomy last fall to remove a cancerous tumor and currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy, Colista Lich doesn’t ever utter the words, “I have ovarian cancer.” Instead, she says: “I am cancer-free. I’m just trying to convince the machines and doctors of that.”
