    bill, the pentultimate retard.
if he did just a LITTLE background research on “okie” he would know that merle wrote it as a song about the perceptions of those who didnt understand nor take part in the hippie movement. he wasnt bashin weed, but bill, being the little napoleon-syndrome tiger that he is has to be like “huh?? huh?? what was that all about mr conservative? huh? huh?”. im sorry, is smokin the ganj reserved only for liberals? he is such a douchebag.

How come “celebrities” can smoke MJ and make funny videos about it, or even leak photos, and nothing happens, but the regular joe gets felony charges for a bag.

    What an awkward interview.

@SteveHutch514 Mahar is only grateful for a chance to gain ratings by bashing a “conservative” musician. He is probably muttering “redneck” under his breath.

I know what Merle mean when he said “It was a privilege to live in the tail end of a great country”. Merle meant it was a pleasure to live in America before the Obamer regime policies took over 51 percent of the private sector economy!

Why does everyone seem to have a negative view of Bill Mahar in this interview? I think he seems grateful to be talking to Merle and doesn’t put him down or try to make him look stupid. He seems to respect him, as we all should.

“I am seldom in Muskogee” Merle is a true wit and genius musician and songwriter. I love his WTF look in the interview. Bill got everything wrong. This is side splitting, I’ve watched it many times.

Bill Maher is a butt pimple! This entire thing was to make fun of Haggard. Some little dipshit from the Northeast who feels smug assed superior to someone from an area of the United States he finds distateful!
