Basilray Reviews: Express Carto Kit from 21st Century Smoke
January 27, 2012
Poor web site, lousy pre-fill juice, proprietary connection, high prices, no blank option sink what could have been a decent performing horizontal-coil device. Do NOT suggest that anyone purchase this. **As always, this review is brought to you bias-free. Regardless of how I came to have any eCig device or accessory in my posession, it will not taint my opinion. No BS, just straight up opinion and commentary!** www.twitter.com www.facebook.com Express Carto Kit: 21st Century Smoke www.21stcenturysmoke.com

Got something to say?

I think the confusion on the puffs is based on the 2 or 3 piece ecig. the 2 piece cartomizers say you get 300 puffs, while the 3-piece replacement cartridges say you get 180 puffs. I agree it’s a little confusing.
does the smoke ever run out? i got one jw ?
I have tried these…picked up one at the gas station…uck and awful…but got curious with there web store…yes they are way too expensive for what they are!!! Nasty taste is being nice..it is gross
After a few primer puffs, I felt the first throat hit and taste. If you’re a smoker, I’d match this with a Tahoe. Rough hit and taste. after trying it out while I watched this video, I agree with practically every statement from basilray. Can’t vouch too much since I don’t have anything to compare it to yet, But I’ll update you in about a week!
I picked up the disposable regular you mentioned for $9.99 at a local tobacco outlet, just really for kicks while I waited on my first real vape order. I wanted to get something cheap to try out because honestly, I couldn’t wait. Given the hype of what I’ve ordered elsewhere (Riva 510 Tank Starter Kit for $34.99 + juices), I didn’t expect too much from this 21st Century Smoke product…
maybe its a m601 if you own an xpower or m301/m601 i would see if it is the reason why they say par FDA rules is the FDA is now trying to take our flavors away
I really hope this doesn’t end up in a lot of places, It’s crap products like this that people end up trying first and going back to ciggerettes.
@walsted1968 It’s a Blue Yeti. It’s pretty rock solid!
Im just curious what mic are u using, nice quality
I bought this brand at my local gas station …but a disposable…..i agree with you completely. I did find the disposable at the gas station and a 39.99 rechargable kit. I went to their site and they are too pricey!!!!!! they are less expensive at the gas station!! i got it just to try it out.
Awsome review dude! I saw some disposable kits @ shoprite, I think I’ll take my camera in there with some questions and possibly buy 1 for a review.
@akking321 My thoughts exactly. Thanks, Basil! People interested in vaping sometimes ask me for an opinion on a starter kit. Your reviews of these kits help inform me in answering that question with relevant advice.
Makes you wonder what kind of beta testing they did – what with the nasty juice and confusing ordering. I do hope the company takes this feedback seriously and does better by us and future customers.
Scary to think this kind of prefilled crap juice might be the only thing legal in the future.. :-/
Pup says: Great job as always!
It sounds to me that whoever is deciding what to write on the packaging doesn’t know the difference between cartomizers and cartridges. That would throw up a red flag IMO.
I’d rather buy from a company run by vapers or at least knows the differences between products.
Good video, it sucks that some people are going to buy those kits and give up on vaping cause the juice sucks or the prices are to high as well as having to be stuck with only buying from their site.
Thanks for the review…. As I always find them very informative…
Murphy USA stations carry them. It was my first e-cig. My impression was about the same as yours. Not too good but OK in an emergency. I refilled a few of the menthol cartos after cleaning them and they were good for awhile. The kit you have sells for right qt $21 here in Ky.
Of course the FDA wants to squash the electronic cigarette market! Ecigs cut into the money they receive from the tobacco lobbyists! V2CIGS.com is an American company that is based in Florida. Use code ” thankburgess ” for 15% off starter kits.
